I can't make it but hope you all have fun! Hubby has the whole day off today and just called to tell me he's cleaned the house and is making fatah for supper! :dance::dance::dance::dance: He makes it soooooooooo good! I'm trying to get him to make another dish as well.....all part of my evil plan to have him cook 3x/week. :devil:

What's Fatah? I tried googling it and only got political responses on it in relation to Hamas. Couldn't find anything "food-related". :unsure:

LOL. It's this Egyptian dish. (not sure if it's mena-wide or not). I dunno how to make it but what he does is the following:

takes cubed beef and boils it with water, onions and whatever other spices he uses.

cooks rice and mixes it with tomato sauce and other stuff.

Is that clear? LOL. I'd type out the whole recipe but it's written down on a napkin on our fridge in arabic. He got it from his sisters. I think HLM posted it here at one time but I forget. It's wicked yummy though I'm not sure if it's because I don't have to cook it or because it truly is wicked yummy. :)

OK.... it is going to be -35 wind chill tonight. :mellow: This should constitute a hardship expedite. How am I to stay warm and safe with my man 6,000 miles away? Who is to warm the car and shovel the way to the garage? Who is to take the trash to the curb on garbage day?

How's ya'llz Wednesday? I am hunkered down and sippin my instant coffee.

Happy Hump day everyone! I hope everyone's day goes well. It is so cold here though not as bad as what some of you are getting up North. My husband keeps hoping for snow but so far nothing. We get forecasts for possible snow and then nothing comes. I want a little snow if I have to suffer through this cold!

My hubby too!!! We are expecting 5 inches today so he may get his wish. It kind of sucks that he will be traveling this weekend in this mess.
