If it's for a K-1 you bring it with you to the embassy.

every consulate for different country has diffrent rules...so, i m much confused..

Find your embassy from this link www.usembassy.gov and find the instructions for the visa you are applying for.

Did you not get any instructions from the embassy on how to submit the form?

You still haven't said what Visa you are applying for. If it is K1 then once the case reaches the embassy, NVC do not deal with it anymore. All I can suggest is that you follow the instructions given to you by the embassy as they are the ones that issue the forms and process them at the interview.

With regards to originals or photocopies, take both.

This is based on information that you are pursuing CR1 (I-130).

DS-230 Part I and II gets submitted to NVC. This happens when you will be submitting your IV (or DS-230) packet. You will submit this packet after you have paid IV fee bill of $400 and the status has been switched to 'PAID'. You will pay this bill after you have sent DS-3032 Choice of Agent form and it has been accepted by the NVC.

DS-230 Part I should have a signature of your spouse in India while DS-230 Part II should be filled out but NOT signed as your spouse will sign that form at the consulate during the interview. The NVC will forward your DS-230 forms that you have sent here to the consulate.

Search this site to find Loto's guide and ling ling's guide on CR1. Follow that and the process becomes easy.

My answer was simple and directed towards petitioner. If you are the beneficiary, you should fill out DS-230, sign Part I and NOT sign Part II. Then you should send this form to petitioner in USA who will submit to NVC as part of the IV packet. As a beneficiary, when you go to the consulate for an interview, you will be given the same DS-230 Part II and will be asked to sign on it. This form would be forwarded from NVC to consulate once your case is complete. Can't get simpler than this.

And please fill your timeline.
