I know this sounds lame, but just curios. My fiancé and I just received an email notification of our NOA2. We are very happy and starting to prepare the required documentation, I have thought of making a scrapbook. I read somewhere about a no-no in using hard-bound covers/binders and thick photo-albums or else one will earn the annoyance of the pre-screener. How did you guys make your scrapbook, any tips? What materials did you use? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

"Being parents has brought us to our knees in gratitude. We are humbled like never before. We are filled with exhilaration so awesome that we wanted to shout our joy in giant swooping phrases. We love our little man so much. It's a beautiful thing. Truly, babies are God's proof that the best things do come in small packages!!!"

for our pics, i simply used small, thin and plain photo albums where you just slip the photos in slots and put labels over the photos for the dates . i probably had just 24 photos in them.

i didn't make so much fuss over them since i was advised that the interviewers will simply scan through them. i just made sure that the photos were big and clear enough. ;)

ROC mailed to USCIS -- June 10, 2011

ROC approved -- November 1, 2011

finally free of USCIS paperwork!

I stapled 10 pages of short bondpaper, labeled the first page with our names and placed two pictures for each successive pages so that I had 18 pictures ( I also labeled each with date and place where the photo was taken) to show all in all. I brought the rest of our pictures though for back-up in case they needed more but they didnt. My "album" went thru the window without a hassle because it was very thin. It was simple but very convenient. Anyway they are interested in your picturs, not how grand the arrangement looks like :) Just a tip that helped me a lot.

Goodluck on the journey.

Removal of Conditions :

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

The pre-screener asked me to take out 5 pictures in the album even if the album fits in the window. The labels I made were basically useless.
