G-325A form question

Couple of question regarding employment listing.

1. Overlaps are ok? I've been working remotely for US company and at the same time for local company at some point.

2. Here's the interesting one.. in the past four or so years, my previous employer went through the following:

a) original company

B) name change

c) address change

d) address change

e) was aquired by another company

f) company name change

g) company location change (address change)

How do I file that? Really there have been only two different employers, but I am thinking of stating the following:

a) original company

B) name/address change

c) aquisition (name/address change)

d) name/address change

Would that be OK?

pak,

G-325A is not a significant form, don't be concerned about going into any degree of detail.

If it were me, the information I'd show regarding a previous employer would be as of the employment end date.

I.e. ignoring all the name/address changes & aquisitions, put 1 employer (with last known name) and employment end date?

Thanks.

Think of it this way. When the company changed their name, the old name is not any more. The company you worked for is the new name of the company. Same with address. If they moved they have nothing at the old address so it is of no interest.

You have to remember you are dealing with the government. Once you confuse them they do not have enough reasoning ability to ever figure it out. Just us the KISS system and you will be fine.

pak,

What I meant was not last known name, name as of the date that employment ended.

But, last known name would be OK as well. Just my personal preference to use the employer's name as it was when I last worked for them.

I got that - for me it is one and the same :)

What about aquisition? That did sort of change employer (although it never seemed to me that way since all my co-workers remained more or less the same...).

OK, that makes sense. What about aquisition? See my reply above. Thanks.

pak,

I give up - what about acquisition? What was the employer's name and address when you last worked there - write it down.

You are making this way too complicated for a form that is not used for anything anyway.
