NOA2 approval letter so soon?

That is wild. I am in the dilema of processing an I-130 for my Dominican husband, but have fallen for a Cuban. My husband and I have had unending problems that I thought were mostly due to stress of our relationship and circumstances, but after meeting this Cuban, and I have known enough about Cuba to be extremely cautious, I really think that I would be happier with him. But when I thought about possibility of being together and going thru a year to two year wait period AGAIN, I thought it was impossible. Thanks for giving me the boost I need to think, maybe I can have this other, better life! And congrats with your news!

I submitted my I129-F form for my fiance in cuba on 12/31/08. Today is January 13, 2009 and I got the approval notice. The letter says my packet is going to go to the National Visa Service Center and it should take two to four weeks to go to Cuba. I sent my papers through the California Service Center. Is this normal? I thought it took 6 months to get to this point. What do I do next? I am happy, but I don't want to get to get my hopes up that this process is going to be quicker than I thought it was.

Soy Pluma and my fiancee is cuban national Indio. We have been together almost one year and are about to begin the Visa Journey! I have put some good amount of time into researching the many approaches but i'm curious to know from you and others out there too, are you going it alone or using a lawyer? I have spoken to a few lawyers but all three, reputable as they may be, have little to no experience with Cuban nationals still living inside Cuba. If you have a referral I would be forever indebted.
