Hi all. This is my first post on the forums. My question is about the affidative of support. I am sponsoring my fiancee, who is from Canada. I am currently a full time student, and working part time, so I understand that I will need a co-signer for my affidative of support. My mother has agreed to co-sign, however she works part time. Can her assets be considered for support? She owns her own home, as well as having large amounts of liquid assets as a result of my father's death (life insurance policys), and other savings accounts. We are just starting this whole process, so any information would be much appreciated.
