Only in off topic can the thread lead from God to boobs. But sex does enter the picture in regards to whether God is a man or a woman, that movie Dogma, God is portrayed as a woman, old art shows God as an old man, a big man, but an old man.

In practically any ancient culture, a belief in a supreme being existed as did life after death, some far more sophisticated than others. Some with one God, others with many, ha, we have more gods than you do, yeah but our one god is far more powerful than all of yours put together. In an old anthropology class only a few cases were pointed out in very small tribes of Indians well isolated from others didn't seem to believe in a creator, but just accepted life as it is, have a good time, plenty of food in the jungles for the women to pick and animals as well for the men to hunt. Illness and death were accepted as a part of life as well as the weather and even going hungry. But in larger civilizations, some type of god was always present.

If each of us were born and left in a very isolated area, would we think about a god, or just surviving from day to day? Is there something ingrained in us to even bring the subject up? Most of us had religion slammed in our faces from the time we were born, some to the point, if we didn't eat our vegetables and clean our rooms, would face death with eternal damnation and the worse pains imaginable. Some feel that a god makes his presence known by the beauty of the earth around us with substanance to keep us goingl

Is a subject that leads us to ponder and has to be a reason why we even bother to think about it.

i like the babel fish argument of denying god's existence from hitchhikers guide book

The argument goes like this:
