Hello everyone.

Another June filer here. After almost 7 mos. of filing my AOS, I got a RFE letter from USCIS asking for certification of good conduct. Here is the complete message we got from them:

*** CERTIFICATION OF GOOD CONDUCT: The applicant's fingerprints have twice been rejected as "illegible." Additional evidence is required to continue processing the adjustment of status application. Please provide a letter issued by the local law enforcement agency (County Sheriff's Office or Local Police Department) indicating the applicant has "no criminal record." The record search should include all the aliases (all other names) the application may have used in the past. A separate letter is required for each law enforcement district in which the applicant has resided during the previous five years.

That's what they want from us. We just went to the state police office and they gave us the letter. They even had my fingerprints taken and printed out a copy in an official sheet of paper. The police said my prints are just fine. And i think based on the printed copy of my prints USCIS can access my digital prints from the PSP office.

My question is, are those enough to send to CIS? Will that satisfy them? I still have a copy of my barangay clearance, police clearance and NBI clearance from my country but they are outdated since I got them 3 months before I left PI. I was thinking of making a copy of those too and send to them together with the letter we got from PSP and the copy of my prints.

I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance.

Looks good to me. If you left the PI three months after you got the police report, it is not "out of date". You only lived there three more months. If it was good enough for the Consulate, it will be good enough for USCIS.

Thanks for your reply pushbrk. we're making a copy of everything now so we can send the docs by tomorrow. it helped that my husband is a cop. few min. after we received the letter he called the psp station and asked if they can still accomodate us for the fingerprinting, knowing it's almost 3:30pm already and they close at 4pm. got the letter and the fingerprint copy in less than 15 mins. i thought we're gonna pay for their services just like in PI where we need to pay to get a copy of those. hehehe good thing we didnt pay anything.

We'll send it tomorrow and i wish that the next email we'll get from CRIS is a welcome letter or an approval letter, or both, and not another rfe or a denial letter. I want to get my GC before i give birth. this aos process really stresses me out! :crying:
