Hello everybody!!!

I hope everything is going smooth and great for you...

We have a single question ... We got an RFE on december 29th 2008, We sent it back to the CSC last friday "January 10th"... Does anybody knows how long can it take to get the approval or I -129 NOA2 now? If maybe someone has had any similarv experience... We would be thankful to receive any comment(s) ...

got my RFE dec 19th they received jan 5, i haven't heard anything yet but i've seen on here that some people don't get an email or a touch but the noa2 shows up. good luck

WE got an RFE too last December 15, 2008. And we sent it back last December 23, 2008. USCIS received our RFE reply last December 30, 2008. Then after several touches, December 30, 31 January 1,2,5 and 6, we havent heard anything yet from them. Still the last updated date is January 6, 2009. No changes yet. I hope we will get our NOA2 soon.

getting your approval after sending in your RFE can take from 30-60 days, sometimes longer. Some ppl have waited a few days to a few weeks, some a few months.

I had an RFE, stupid reason, i filed for K1 fiance visa, and they sent me an RFE asking for my US marriage cert to Edi. I replied back with we dont have one yet as they havent approved him to come here yet.

i got the RFE on 2/27/2006 returned it on 2/28/2006 and was approved on 5/3/2006

an update...got a email from CRIS friday stating I-129 approved so maybe you will be approved next week, i think my fre was about a week ahead of you. Good luck and don't stop praying for it.http://www.visajourney.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/good.gif

I got an RFE by email Dec. 29, by mail it came Jan 02, I sent it back same day and it got there Jan 06, status changed to resumed and processing on Jan 06, and still no approval yet....

Hoping it may be next week!

But I did get touches on Jan 15 and Jan 16, I called CSC on the 14 to ask about processing, so maybe that is why I got the touches...who knows.

We sent our RFE back and we were approved within a week of them approving it..Our lawyer said he managed to speak to whoever sent it out and they agreed to look at it as soon as it landed back on their desk.. Not sure how he did it but might be worth a phone call or 2.. Good luck!
