Hello- I know a lot of people have been asking about vaccination requirements lately, but I have some of my own.

My husband came on a K-1 visa, and we are trying to get all the papers together to file for AOS. In Mexico (before coming here) he had the measles, rubella, tetanus, Hep. B, and influenza vaccinations. The "mumps" vaccination apparently does not exist in Mexico? He had chickenpox when he was little, so he did not get that vaccination. Now, I have no idea if he needs more vaccinations, and I see different requirements on every site I search. How have others handled this?

Should I just make an appointment at a Civil Surgeon's office to have his vaccinations transcribed? I dont' want to go there and find out he needs more vaccinations, and then be forced to pay a lot of money to get them done there. I tried to call 2 civil surgeons in my area to ask about the vaccination requirements, but I just kept getting put on hold and transfered to voicemails.

Can anyone help me out? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

if his record has an MMR vaccination then he is ok with the mumps vaccine.

It stands for Mumps Measles Rubella (german measles) although it's obviously not effective, I had my full doses when I was young but still managed to get rubella and mumps...
