hi, my fiancee is from the philippines, she is 2 months pregnant, i want to ask what will happen when she goes to the medical exam at st lukes, will she be able to go thru the medical exam, and also will she be given the required vaccinations and x rays? please if anybody has gone thru this process before, i would appreciate if anyone can tell me what the process is like, i plan to be with her when she goes to the medical and interview, but i just want to know what to expect,

Dont be panic...she wont undergo any vaccination bcoz its bad for the baby...even if your fiancee dont tell about her pregnancy, it will be learned tru her urinalisis, but she will not be exempted also.....as long as she is healthy, she will pass the medical...Drs knew what they are doing. Good Luck...

yes, she'll be fine. she'll be asked in her forms if she's pregnant and she'll go through the same process except that during the xray she'll be using a shield for her abdomen. and she'll skip the vaccinations, which she could get when she comes here in the US before she adjusts her status. ;)

does this shield really protect the baby from harmful radiation or from the xray..??
