Attaching Documents to AOS (ACCO/Staple)

Since the AOS application package is fattening up, can I use ACCO or staple them. Its confusing as some websites state, ACCO's SHOULD not be used. Without them it would be difficult to clamp the papers. Any insight?

just remember that someone is going to be taking all of those papers apart when they arrive, so keep them in mind. Your documents are all going to different places. USCIS has it's own filing system.

Do not staple.

One USCIS link says to use acco's, one say's don't - so I wouldn't.

Paperclip the hell out of them though.

I stapled the forms individually since they are concurrently submitted and attached supporting documents with ACCO. Is that good enough?

If you are doing AOS, EAD, and AP then treat them as three separate applications, rather than one big bundle. They process in different places. Just put the three pieces in the same envelope. USCIS says on the page about AOS that applications sent to the Chicago lockbox should not have ACCO. It says you can staple the payment, but not to use staples otherwise. Paper clips, real big ones are good.

Do not staple and do not use ACCO. Use giant paperclips to separate them, like AOS, AP, EAD.
