Ok I am from Montreal too and I had my Birth certificate translated in English by a member of the OTTIAQ. Cost me about 20$ per sheet ( had other college transcripts as well) They are not notarized, but certified, which was enough for me to get me through VISA, EAD, and GC. I don't know if they are certified by a notary or what, but I believe the documents I got back had the seal of a lawyer or something like that.

On a side note : Before that I attempted to order my birth certificate in English, only to find out that it is impossible for them to switch if your birth was registered in French, and same if it was in English they cannot print it in French....which all doesn't make sense since Quebec is bilingual anyways...

And the office you will go for your Medical is a French office in both cases... No need to have your Carnet de Vaccination translated

Et dire que j'etais la seule Quebecoise ici il y a 2 ans, maintenant y'en a tout plein et je suis presque jamais ici!!

What the heck? Are you suddenly sprouting kids or something? Why do you have no time for your friends?
