Hi everybody,

I got my EAD and my SSN while I was pending in my AOS, after my AOS was aproved I received a residential card that expire 2 years from the date I received it.

My question is Do I need to renew my SSC? or will it renew automatically?

If I was with my EAD card it would expire in april 2009, then if I need to renew my ssc I need to do this month.

Thank you for your time.

If you look at my timeline at the bottom of my posts, you will see that we waited until after marriage to apply for the SSN. Marlene applied for the SSN using her married name. We took her passport with the attached I-94 and the visa showing her class of admission (K-1). We never applied for EAD. We did go back and had the restriction on the SSC removed after she received her permanent resident card.
