NEED YOUR HELP !!!!!!!

would like to know the time it currently takes for the different steps for a K1 visa.

I'm wondering if the Vermont Center is late or on time. Just to know if a I129 sent last week can

be processed on time for a wedding in August

Tks for your help[/size]

It's hard to tell. It could be enough but like it looks right now this is very optimistically planned. There could be things going wrong at every single steps of the process. You might get your approval within 3-4 months but it could also take 10-12 months if you get stuck in security checks. We allowed 9 months from filing to our wedding and since it took us 6 1/2 months to get approvd, it will be already tight as you also need about 2 months at least for the embassy stage in your country if all goes well.

If I were you, I would put the wedding to a later date. Maybe around the end of the year at least or just settle the date once you are approved and your file is at the embassy in France.

For general ideas of time click on "MY TIMELINE" on the side of the preson's post. You can do this to anyone's profile if they have filled in the info. You will see panterchen's dates are in June and Jan...

Good luck - to be safe I would leave lots of time or you will start to go crazy!
