I was calling the nvc all day yesterday but all i got was this number is busy all day. I tred again this morning and got the same thing. I don't know what im doing wrong can someone help??

Are you calling 603-334-0700? If so, then keep on trying.

Yeah i have been trying that and it keeps saying number not in use

I get the same thing during the day from about 10-5 ish. There lines are very very busy. I only call between 730-830 and around 10pm. I keep a list of all the names of people I have spoken to try to get the IIN number. So far no luck, as they say they can't give it out. James short cuts says it is very hard to get the IIN number and said some people had to call 30 times before getting it. Anyone know how long it will take to get the letter in the mail in case we are unable to get it through the phone?

I've been trying to call ALL day to NVC too! It's been busy....

I guess I will wait for my IIN in the mail. It shouldn't take too long. Then I can pay quickly online and send out the next package! Hopefully this process will go super fast! :)

I emailed my Ds-3032 on the day I got my case number. It took about 8 days for them to respond via email. When I called they said that form has not yet been processed. Yet the AOS bill was sent. Are they sending the AOS bill to me or my spouse in Peru?

They mail the AOS to the petitioner. All the other papers go to the beneficiary. I'm still waiting for my AOS to come through the mail too. They still haven't accepted my DS-3032! I will try calling today again....

I received this email from NVC, regarding to my choice of agent that I emailed to them. Is this mean they accept my Choice of agent already?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Good Afternoon,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa

Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated

agent on the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions

before the instruction packet will be sent.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Also one more question, we paid AOS fee bill online yesterday, today IV fee bill seems to be able to pay online as well, should we pay it now or wait until AVR say that our IV fee bill is already generate? I talked to an operator, she said that they just finished reviewing our choice of agent today, she also said that IV fee bill will be sent out within a week or two.

NOA2 got emailed to me by CRIS. When do I call the NVC and see if my packets get mail to embassy in PHILS... since I got the APPROVED notice, what can I do while waiting for my wife... is there anything here in the stateside I can do to expedite my wife to get here. I mean 7 months without her is long enough... I will go with I-130 eventhough both I-130 and I-129F have been approved.

Congrats on the approval! The NVC is a very short journey for most people compared the the USCIS/CRIS. So welcome to the club :)

What you can do is read this wiki guide about NVC: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

It will help you a TON! Get all the papers ready....a certified marriage certificate, certified birth certificate of the beneficiary, police record check, etc. It will tell you all in the guide. It's a quick process, so if you're prepared it'll go even quicker!

Good luck!

I want to pay the fee so I can mail in the I-864 stuff! :content: I can NEVER get through at NVC...seems like everyone is calling all at once! Still no 'acceptance' of DS-3032...still waiting on that. Oooh I hope this all goes much quicker!

Yes they accepted your DS3032 and that is why you have IV fee bill payable online. You can pay it now. Mine was payable yesterday (when I paid it) but their message just said that they received DS3032, but today my message said that IV fee was generated on Jan 21st (yesterday). So I'm sure it is safe to pay it online.

Peter'n'Jamie...how is your journey coming along?

Have not had a chance to call NVC in three days. Have been too busy with work. But I have not yet received my AOS bill. I assume that everyone has waited to get theirs in the mail and paid it online? How long is it taking to get that bill? Last time I checked my DS-3032 had not been accepted but like I said it has been a few days.

I just called NVC and got to talk to a very very nice lady. She told me that the Choice of Agent is accepted and IV fee bill already generated just today. My husband just paid IV fee online so now we are just going to wait until it shows paid. Then he will send both AOS and DS-230 together in the same packet.
