We were approved January 6th, today January 12th received our NVC Case #.

Where is everyone else at? It's always helpful to do a process like this together. I know the Dec/Jan people did and it helped them!

Once it shown "PAID" online status, you can start sending ur stuff. I took a chance and sent my stuff while still PENDING on my paid status and they got it there, I did the PRIORITY MAIL THOUGH, buy me 2-3 days while the funds clear my account. Goodluck, you will get there... natapos sa amin ng mga 25 days pero 2 RFE and 1 holiday. You can beat the system if you have eevrything ready on hand. Ang record ay 11 days done and completed by the NVC.

Who are here ignoring the K3 process beside me? The US Embassy consulate in the PHILIPPINES never mail the letter to my wife. I received the mail few days ago, embassy mailed it FEB 12... wow...snail mail. I called the NVC told them that since I paid the $ 470, I will be ignoring the K3. The NVC stated they have no control over it cause they mailed the K3 on 29 Jan 2009 to the consulate. Did anyone here totally ignored the K3 or anyone here call the consulate to drop the K3. I did IGNORED the K-3 but if I got the mail from consulate on the 12th FEB, I would call them, set up the appointment for an interview and used that interview date to Converted CR1 instead of K3. I also try to buy 1 way ticket for my wife in the Philippines, $ 760 NOW vs $1345 later for one way in May flight but I can't buy it unless my wife have visa on hand for the price of $ 760... but the lady cant guarantee the price in April after my wife interview. Anyone living in the Philippines (preferebly live in Cebu) know any best deal in flights from CEBU to San Antonio? Expedia.com or any of these online ticket still high prices....Thanks!

If you pay the bills with money order, I think you have to wait for the instruction package from NVC. Kasi pag-online nagbayad, once the status becomes "PAID", you can print the bar-coded coversheet yourself and it needs to be attached to your document package. It'll probably take a week or two to receive the instruction package kc parang ordinary mail lang ang ginagamit ng NVC.

check the online site though, if it shows online that you are status paid you can try to download the cover sheets. If it lets you then just do that and send in your DS230 without waiting for NVC package. It will save you time.
