Here's the update! After over 30 minutes waiting in que to speak with an operator I finally got a nice lady and told her that I received a paper saying they didn't have specific information, and also the AVR states we are missing financial info. She says "oh no, we already received that...." I said ok so it's just in processing then? "Looks like it... (she's quiet for a bit) ...oh actually your case was complete today." How about a celebration?!?!

CASE COMPLETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I drink to that, we both get our case completed today. They told you too about the interview instruction will be mail for you for the month of APRIL? Well thats what they told me so, I hope before my 1st Aniversarry my wife is here! I really hope no more hiccup in the Embassy, 10 months is long enough and now March and arrrrgh APRIL!

I'm hoping for an April interview...really praying for one! The operator just said "so now you're just waiting for your interview date..." or something along those lines.

Do you think each embassy/U.S. consulate is different per country? I'll be going to Montreal in Canada....

Yes they are as far as the interviews... someone here in other side of the world got CASE COMPLETED on Jan 15, and have interviewed in FEB 19 I think ( I read it somewhere here in VJs ), so it depends on how many or how big the applications are per country. Philippines fall in that big #s so the slot for an interview get filled quick. So each country have their ratio... and we both just waiting for an interview, you will get yours most likely before mine. CHEERS !!!

Thanks. So I think it depends on the consulate how they schedule interviews. They sent the interview letter yesterday as well, I should have it within few days. Hope the best for all of you.

Congrats Stevai and Peter'n'Jaime!! That's great news. Figures they start doing things we don't expect... seems there are a few people getting interview dates now... and I thought we have always been told they schedule only the first 2 weeks of each month!!
