Recent I-130 approvals for January!

OK, our fee bills are paid and we had the AVR message for that. Next we mailed the DS-230 and I-864. and NVC received them. Now the AVR has a message that just says an instruction package will be mailed to you in the next 2 weeks. What is this? Is it a case complete and the instructions is the interview letter? Or is it a message referring to the generation of the DS-230? I am confused since the package has been received already. Anyone have an idea what it might be?

It should be IV fee bill if you paid all your bills online.

It was the DS230 being sent we just got conformation that the DS230 and I-864 has been received at NVC.

You guys will never believe this....we over nighted our RFE I-864 package to NVC and they just received it. Then I go and check the AVR and it says that they're requesting MORE information!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a total meltdown........so much for an April interview at this rate.......

Seriously my husband and my father-in-law have the same names, except different middle names. I really feel like they're screwing up with both of their information. My husband didn't have to file for taxes b/c he was in school, so we proved why, proved he was in school, and proved his dad claimed him for all 3 years. Anyways, my father in law makes way over the poverty line so we're good to go financially with him as our 'support'.

I sent in SO much information. Another RFE? I'm like a case out of history, this never happens with NVC

Any light to shine on this guys?!??!

....by the way, do you think speaking with an operator or a supervisor will help? I have a strong feeling they've mixed up hubby & father in law's info....

Oh man are you serious? ): I don't get why NVC is slacking these days. haha. they screwed up my case too and are requesting more information.

well, i got an RFE because they misplaced my papers and said an I-864A was missing [which it wasn't] and I accidentally left a line blank lol [oops] and that was pretty much it.

We got an RFE...well I'm not too sure why, but my solid advice is to go over-board on the amount of information you give them. If they say "maybe send 1-3 years of tax info.." send ALL three! That way you gave them a little extra and all they asked for. Make sure you triple check all of your forms and get someone else to look over them too. Sometimes we're so used to seeing all the forms that our eyes play tricks on us!

By the way....our AVR is still saying that we have an RFE, but again according to the lady on the phone Thursday night we don't have an RFE that message is just up there because they just received our I-864 RFE package the day before and they haven't had a chance to look at it. Phew! I will check again on Monday, maybe to just double check the operators info. Doesn't hurt right?

1st RFE- NVC stated they never got my IV package... that next day it was cleared, they got my package!

2nd RFE- this one bites cause like you, I tripple everything and send extra stuff to make sure its everything okay, the bad part is no one there on weekend to answer the phone- AVR only states they sent RFE. I think its my PCC/NBI that was sent the nxt day after my pckg was sent off. But then it also state that they need my wedding certificate from previous marriage, I guess the divorce decree is not enough?

Another wknd pass and now cant find out anything till MONDAY, the bz day for the NVC operators..

I am really wondering, since my husband was married before, we are sending his divorce decree

but not the marriage, did they gave you a reason why they wanted the previouse marriage paperwork

and is this for the USC or future Alien Relative

I will call them this morning, no reasons at all about previous marriage certificates but when I reviewed the online instructtion, its there states copy of the previous marriage license so I figure that might be what they needed cuse I send everything else including the divorce decree and the waiver citation. They opned in a hour so I will call them !

the one on the next

they were not both available on the same day

but if they are

pay them one by one

in order you need to pay them

AOS first then IV

I paid them one by one. Just make sure that the bills have been generated and sent, you can confirm by speaking to an operator at NVC, and then pay them.

Carlos & Jocel - Did you get through to NVC today?!?!? I am constantly trying to call...this weekend our AVR still said we had an RFE (even though the operator informed me that just means our paperwork has not been looked at yet...). I'm still going to call within the next few days if the AVR doesn't change to double-check that the message on the AVR is what the last operator said it was! Doesn't hurt to double & triple check right?

Let me know what your 'rfe' was supposedly for. I hope you don't actually have one!!!!

Yes my bills were generated 2 weeks ago, also my husband got both bills by mail....he paid both bills online today..i just received an email confirming that...but this email is just for the IV bill...it say nothing about the AOS bill, ..is it normal??...should I wait to receive other email confirming my husband paid the AOS bill????....

you can go on the site and log in

and you can re send yourself the email

or print the invoice and cover letters fomr online

you need your case number

and your invoice number

Yes, that is normal. At the time the AOS bill is paid, they don't have your email in their system. If you email in the DS-3032 they record your email, which is probably why you got the IV Bill receipt and not the AOS Bill. If you want copies you can login with your case number and IIN as ArubaDolphin mentioned.
