I read that the photos need to have a light background so as not to interfere with passport, I would hope light blue is ok, but DH's were white... so good luck. And yes the Invoice ID Number comes with the AOS package.

yes i plan to mail the DS 3032 also when we receive it. So am i correct in assuming that the AVR message stating the beneficiary was sent a notice or receipt of the package from USCIS is the DS 3032 instructions or is that simply a notice of receipt for the package?

Thanx again MS my god this is nerve racking! Like walking a tightrope, you dont want to take a miss step LOL

It is better if you talk to an operator, just ask them if your DS3032 is generated. They will tell you if it is, try calling them morning and late evening. If your DS3032 is generated already, you can print the form and do the barcode for it yourself.

Here is the instruction for that: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...de_instructions

The link to download the DS3032 form : http://www.state.gov/m/a/dir/forms/

Here is the fast steps to fly through NVC

I got the form from the net, filled it in and took a screenshot so DH could fill it in correctly, had him print it and then fill it in and then scan it to me where I then copied and pasted the barcode I made with our case number per the barcode wiki instructions . Then I emailed the scan as a JPG attachment.

And yes if it says beneficiary was sent a notice that is that they sent the DS 3032. So you could email it by simply sending from her email, some statement that reads with your case number, name and DOB, her name and DOB and like the statement on the 3032 that she is choosing ?you? as her agent. And as mommy suggests you can truly mail a copy if you had her send a scanned one you print. You can overnight any document to NVC through USPS for 17.50.

Thanx MS i do understand what you mean about paying the fees at the same time but separately. Now as far as the passport photos for the DS 230 package do they need to be white background or is light blue OK? Also is the IIN number on the AOS bill when i receive it?

about the photo, the instuction said : Photograph subject against a plain white or off-white background

I am not exactly sure about what they told you. Next time when you call them just ask that If your DS3032 is generated. They should be able to tell you if it is or it is not. Or if you call and listen to AVR, if it is generated then it will also tell you that your DS3032 has been generated on __________________ and will be sending to the beneficiary. If it is not yet then it will say NVC has received your case on_______________________

MMW...we had a hard time getting IIN from an operator at NVC so we just waited a few days and received it in the mail! It was super easy, then we paid both bills. As soon as the first bill shows as paid, you can get all of your paperwork together, print off the receipt barcoded page and send off the first package. Do the same with the second.

Good luck!

Hello guys,

I just want to ask to all CR1 filers who are done with NVC. Aside from NVC address outside envelope, did you put your name and NVC case # in the other side of the envelope? or just the NVC address only. We are going to send our AOS package soon. Pls help me with this. Thank you in advance

We didn't put anything other than a return address on the envelope, but we did follow the NVC wiki guidelines and put our NVC Case # on the top left hand corner of every page of the package! :)

Good luck!
