So does anyone know when they schedule interviews? I think I read somewhere that they only schedule them on the second weekend of the month?

Wow you weren't Kidding!! We sent a few days apart and where approved within a few days. Even on same step at NVC!! Good luck to you!

It's such a waiting game eh? I'm so glad we've all flown through this process! What a relief compared to the USCIS process....

Do you think certain countries take longer to schedule interviews compared to others?

Looks like mine is similar to yall's timelines as well. Hopefully all our cases gets approved soon. Can't wait for my wife to get here.

BTW, I am asking my wife to take the medical exam now, so I can talk to the consulate in Bangladesh when her case gets approved in order to see if there is anyway for them to give her an earlier appointment date.

On the checklist for IV package it says make sure documents are in order, and I'm wondering if there is a specific order...?

Received I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26

Pay I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Send Completed I 864 and IV Package (overnight) : 2009-2-4 (had to wait for hubby's PC and original birth certificate to arrive)

We put the documents in order by the cover sheet letter that we made.

Here is the sample

Enclosed please find the Form DS-230, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, for the beneficiary, my wife/husband name, put the beneficiary name, and the required documents as follows:

• Coversheet with barcode

• Form DS-230 Part I (with signature) and Part II

• Birth certificate of the beneficiary

Certified copy of birth certificate with the translation

o Photocopy

• Changing surname certificate of the beneficiary

o Certified copy of birth certificate with the translation

o Photocopy

• Marriage certificate

o Original marriage certificate

o Photocopy

• Police certificate of the beneficiary

o Original police certificate

o Photocopy

• Photocopy of valid passport biographic data page of the beneficiary

• Two 2x2 inches passport photographs of the beneficiary

Put them in the same order that you mention on the Covering letter that you put

Hmm, I just called NVC and the AVR system said that they sent some documents. What documents? IV bill shown already paid, I thought I can just print AOS and DS230 myself. :wacko:
