Michael Moore was asking in his open letter to Mr. Bush shortly after hurricane Katrina...

Where are all of our helicopters that we could've used to evacuate the victims?

Turns out they weren't in Iraq after all. They were in the Bahamas.

I'm not going to worry too much about drugs getting in through Florida. That new Miami Vice movie comes out soon, so as long as the drug-runners know Crocket and Tubbs are on the case, they'll be too scared to move weight anyway.

Well it was only 7 Choppers in the Bahamas.

But as far as what the Military support for Katrina was I found this tidibit:

I think Michael Moore makes some entertaining social commentaries--but he is pretty loose with the facts in his commentaries.

In any case, I think we should write off the "war on drugs", seeing as regime change in Afghanistan hasn't changed their national export

and the war on drugs was nothing but PR....most drugs..meth..sweet lucy..etc are america made

Yup. The drug prohibition is no different than alcohol prohibition was. It drive the price up and makes the gangsters/cartels rich.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
