You're not going to believe this (No, it's not an approval)

I contacted the Congressman's office and explained that people who filed after me already got approvals. I asked if she could look into what's going on with my case. She was acting kinda nasty. Her answer to me:

"Well have one of those people who filed after you fax me a copy of their reciept of approval. If I have that, then maybe I can help you. Otherwise I can't do anything."

I was like, "Who the hell would give their reciept number to a stranger over the internet?" Then she said, "They dont' have to give it to you. They can fax it directly to me."

I'm so pissed off. Why don't they just tell me to ** off? I would totally respect an answer like that, more than another pile of BS. I'm so tired of BS everywhere I turn.

Dear Narina,

relax..hard to do what I saying ... may sound like BS to u ....but this is fact...the whole immigration process runs on their own, not a single person can come up with a wealthy solution...

And sweetie, I believe u will be done by this week...May be u r one of those like Mamalou of March filer, who got their approval after everyone got...anyways....

I am sure u don't have to go for plan B...wait a bit...

awww Narina,

what BS! If i filed after you I would gladly scan it to you. :(

My congressman's office asked for nothing of the sort, they contacted VSC innediately. How GD annoying!

Tell them that you cant obtain a NOA2, but you still would like an inquiry..

WOW!

Im sorry that is so disappointing honey.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Not sure who your congressman is but that is an absolute BS answer. I would try and speak to the Immigration Director at the congressman's office in a couple of days, and ask if they can find out if you have atleast been placed in the adjudication queue (i.e. waiting for an officer to review).

Have you reached out to your senator yet?

Well I have 19 days left before plan B goes into practice. I've tolerated 1 year, 6 and 1/2 months - of not being able to regularly see my husband. I can handle 19 more days.

Someone elses approval has nothing to do with your approval. Theres thousands of people getting approvals and some getting denials. How ridiculous of them to do their job based off that nonsense. Find another worker in that office or find another office to ask from.

No, I haven't gone to the Senator. I'm totally disgusted with my whole situation especially, because my family is very connected with some of these people. I asked my aunt to call the Senator for me, but she wouldn't, because she didn't think he would be able to do anything. The congressman is a friend of the family. His secretary is the one that said that BS. The congressman's wife said that if her husband could do something, he would. That leads me to believe they can't freakin do anything. I called my mom and had a temper tantrum AGAIN today with her and told her to call her friend in homeland security or I would freaking be leaving in 19 days for Europe. My mother doesn't want me moving away to Europe. So we'll see. I doubt anyone will be able to do anything though. I really don't believe any of them have the power to do anything.

Umm obviously your upset, but throwing a temper tantrum and demanding things happen when your dealing with the Gov... wont solve anything for you. And your mom or aunt calling around does nothing for you either. Contact your Senators. File a paper requesting for their assistance and as detailed as possible but to the point tell them where you are at in the process and what is the hold up. and if you are not willing to do that maybe its the best thing to do to go to Europe to be with your husband.

Narina,

Just calm down right now and then write the congressman AND senator a letter and ask for a DETAILED inquiry ASAP. Im sure you can fax it to them,it will be faster than mailing.

And if the Senator's prove useless ( like mine were ), take it higher.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Right on, that is a definite. I must say that GOD has a way of teaching patience to those who lack it. GOD brought Adam to me in HIS perfect time. If I had my way it would have been in my time which would have been too soon now that I look back on it.

Perhaps the congresswoman wanted the number so when she calls USCIS, she can reference that case and say "why is it taking longer for the OP's case?"

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Tantrum is with my mother and family - not the government. Even I wouldn't push my luck that far.

Yes, but to ask me to ask other people who I only know from the internet for them to fax their own reciepts to her??? I mean, is that even legal??? LOL As I said before. I would have preferred a "we can't help you, leave us alone" more than another twisted answer...

Furthermore, the congressman's rep would need a privacy release from said NOA2 holder in order to referrence it to USCIS, correct?

again, how GD annoying of them
