I called DOS today and they said his was VISA APPROVED ON Jan 8th!!!

Mashallah!!!!

So when do you think my husband will get it? THey already have his passport, they kept it during his interview

When should we expect the visa to Islamabad US Embassy, and Should I call US Islamabad Embassy tomorrow and ask about where it is and if we can pick it up?

i have also the same query...i also called DOS last friday and they replied that my visa has been issued and printed on 15 of December...but unfortunately So for i could not get it...what could be the reason for this delay?...i have been AP after interview for about 2 years...today i called US embassy and a lady first tried to play with me and told me that she check my case and that they will contact me soon...but when i told her about the DOS information that the visa has been issued and printed on 15 of December already then she asked me that whether my passport was with them..and i said YES..then she told me that she would check my file and then will call me back at my contact number...but she did not call me in the rest of the day...

wow that sucks, I hope they figure it out!

Send the embassy an e-mail and a phone call everyday, and ask if you can just pick it up!

We just prayed everyday! I prayed and prayed and prayed.

We hired a lawyer, Although I don't think she did the best of job, I still feel she somehow had a positive influence on our case as they see that we meant business in wanting my husband to come!

I also think us having a newborn baby helps alot as my husband needs to be here with his new baby!

Funny thing is I was going to fly to Pakistan to see him in 2 weeks and now I don't have to!!!!

My husband brought massive amounts of pictures to his interview and hundreds of pages of chat logs!

I suggest bringing an overwhelming amount of evidence to the interview!!
