My Marian did the medical today, and she said it went with ease. But we both prepared for these things a long time ago and VJ has helped greatly.

Some facts about her Med Appt:

- She stayed in a hotel near the night before her appt, (The Corporate Inn)

- She showed up there at 5 am, and was number 36

-She did her homework. She was prepared with all the documents, in triplicate copies, they might ask for:

Passport - They took it

Appointment letter (email form) - they looked at it

NVC letter - they looked at it

NOA2 - They did not look at it

- She took snacks and a sweater.

- She followed directions good, listened attentively and stayed focus on what she was there for til she finished.

- She passed. She was back at the hotel by 1:30pm having a late lunch and relaxing!

She will go back tomorrow at 9 am for immunizations.

She did not find it a humiliating experience at all.

04/29/2011 Check Cashed for I-130 Petition (We are petitioning our son, he is 13 yrs old)

05/02/2011 Biometric Appointment Letter for May 25 (But we will do a walk-in this week)

05/04/2011 Biometric Completed today.

05/14/2011 Email and Text of I131 Travel Document is APPROVED

05/14/2011 Email and Text of I765 Employment Authorization "Ordered Production of New Card Ordered"

05/16/2011 Email and Text and Rcv'd Appt Letter in the mail for June 16

05/19/2011 EAD card received in the mail today!!

06/16/2011 AOS Interview COMPLETED -SUCCESSFUL

06/17/2011 Email/Text Card Production - APPROVED

06/20/2011 Received SS card in the mail today

06/27/2011 Received Green Card in Hand today!

On my last trip to PI, I cruised by the famous SLEC medical. Just to see it in person for myself, I didn't go inside.

It was a zoo outside. Considering that a lot of streets in PI look like a 24 hour parade.

Good deal your SO got thru it with ease.

Yes I have heard all of the horror stories myself. Maybe we just lucked out. But I would suggest getting there early to anyone who has to do business there for anything.

Thank you! Yes we have been preparing for the interview, and will do more preparing in the coming week. So she will go back to Manila and stay in a hotel for a few more days to do the interview and CFO seminar. So we are busy now, both her and I, double checking and reviewing our paperwork. Thanks for the advice!

2nd Day Went very well!! :thumbs:

She had to go back for her immunizations at 9am.

She showed up early, and she was done by 11am.

Time to go home now....and get ready for the Interview Round.
