InGODShands, thank u! and I love your Godly signature. He'll see us through. tho the wait is so painful! My sister seems to think I'll get mine of January 23, so we'll see. I pray we gets ours the same time! (or sooner!)

Thank u Panterchem, thats hopeful...I sometimes wonder if something is wrong with my case, but i guess they are just slow!

Hot guy, I'm at CSC so they arent fast for everyone :(

i know they are not fast for everyone . but at least they are faster now than VSC.

i was checking your time line and i really hope you will hear good news soon .

you are in my prayers . we don't have anything to do now but waiting and praying

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: It's been 5 months since our NOA1 and still nothing... :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

We filed in July '08 & received our NOA1 on August 18, 2008. Anyone else been waiting around this long???

For those of you who have more experience than us with this whole VISA thing,

should 5 months of waiting for NOA2 be a reason to worry or is this normal? Please help...

Hang in there a little while longer. My NOA2 took 5 months and 2 days from the time of my NOA1 and I filed at Vermont also. Fiancee is having her medical at St Lukes tomorrow and Interview at Embassy January 23.

I sent mine to VSC on 7/10, my NOA1 was dated they received my petition on 8/1/08. I looked two weeks ago and it showed I was outside of my timeline and I just checked again and i'm back into one. Mine now has a date of Jan 10 - Jan 28, so i'm keep my fingers crossed on that one. Since in a little over two weeks, it'll be 6 months since I filed, i'm preparing letters to my state reps, senators, congressmen. On 2/1 if I don't hear anything, i'll send them out. Probably won't help, but it doesn't hurt to try. Calling VSC won't get me anywhere, so i'll try another route. Good luck to everyone who is/will be soon waiting 6 months for their NOA2.

All I can say is that from a psychological aspect ...this is the most difficult time for you. You're getting closer and closer every day. As others have said, 5 months of waiting is the norm.

Do what you can to take care of yourself, keep yourself sane and to keep your blood pressure down! ;)

I know it seems like forever but it really is coming.... and when it does.... all this saddness will be replaced with such joy!

It's a feeling I re-live every time I see someone approved! :)

It seems that things tend to rotate. I've been through this process twice. The first time it took 9 months to get finished and then it fell apart after the approval. That was using CSC when everyone wanted to be at VSC. Back then, VSC was known to process these within 3 months or less.

As to why they may be slower than previous weeks, don't forget that the Christmas and New Year's holidays tend to slow things down. Also, they have had a lot of snow, so maybe a number of employees just couldn't get to work. The CSC doesn't have to worry about snow. Their biggest problem is going to the beach instead of work. :bonk:

Yes it is a bit crazy that folks that filed over at CSC at the same time that I did already got their approvals (there are like 2 or three non-expedites that already got their NOA2s) and here you are waiting 5 months...I'm sorry. I hope that yours comes very soon.

I'm a September filer, and it's been 4 mos. for me, i've read on other threads that some people have been waiting over 180 days to get their NOA2, but then others get their really fast, is not uniform, it's like a roller coaster, and that's why I don't understand, but at the end all we can do is wait our turn and all of this will be a thing of the past....

Lets just hope VSC get its act together and start approving people here....this is the slowest I've seen

Good uck everyone
