Proof of Visiting

I had a question for those that already went through the process. When presenting proof of visiting your fiance did you give her copies to take to the embassy or originals?

I have a bunch of receipts and some plane tickets. Can I just copy them all and give the copies to her or is it better to give her the originals?

I would rather give her copies in case the mail gets lost and it is much easier to organize. I can put multiple receipts on one sheet without worrying about losing them. Is there anything that I need originals of?

Also how thin is the window that you slide evidence under? I need to figure out what size binder to buy.

From what I have known, supporting documents maybe faxed or printed copies.

With my experience, I presented all original copies of our receipts from hotel and beach resorts and all of our boarding passes.

My fiance actually hand carried all of it when he went to PI last Sept.

All I know is that you should have an original copy of the I-134 Affidavit of Support if you are in K1.

I attach a pic in this reply in that way you could have a picture on how the windows look like. Under the mic for the interviewees, was the little window that you would slide the evidences through. The black boxes on the sides are speakers. I suggest you put the pictures on a bondpaper rather than putting it on a binder. they would still let you take away from its folders.

Copies of the receipts are fine. As long as they are clear.

Im not sure of the specific length and width (i didnt measure it when i was there ). Its those that are common in banks. Kinda like this..... it is the closest i can find of the "slide-thru thing".
