I just go crazy!

This government sucks!

I have to go to a specialist, because I had a tb skin test positive(I had bcg in the childhood)and the CV can't sign anything until the specialist confirm that I have no Tb..and I assume he'll make another X-ray...

Anyway...My q is..is it too late if I submit AOS few days before I=94 expires?I'm planning to send ot overnight...I hope to send it next week..and I-94 epires on Jan,23..

any suggetions?

Which government?

Were you tested prior to coming to the US? The reason I ask this is because if you just came over, those records could of been submitted, and if you were negative prior - they should show that. (that is if your medical was within one year of the date submitting)

Some people have reported they AOS a few days after the expiration, up to a few weeks without any problems.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Unfortunately if you've been vaccinated against TB, then the skin will always show up as positive. Mine was positive also, and I had the BCG shot when I was younger.

I hope you get it sorted out.

half correct. The BCG vaccine MAY cause a reaction to a TB skin test, but usually only within the few years after having the vaccine - and the reaction should be small enough (i.e. within the guidelines) that the doctor is satisfied it is negative. For example, if you have TB, the skin test reaction will be a lot greater (raised) than if it is a latent reaction to the BCG.

and not everyone tests positive or has any reaction, I had BCG twice when I was younger and my skin test was flawless.

I'll think you'll find that you will react pretty badly i had mine once when i was born in durban and again in high school in the uk and my reaction is through the roof as is my sisters. My surgeon saw that i had my bcg though twice and understood the reaction (even though he should not have tested.)

Which government?

Were you tested prior to coming to the US? The reason I ask this is because if you just came over, those records could of been submitted, and if you were negative prior - they should show that. (that is if your medical was within one year of the date submitting)

Some people have reported they AOS a few days after the expiration, up to a few weeks without any problems.

no.before coming to US I had just x-ray...because that's the requirments for the doctors in my home country. They are not ask to do the tb skin test.and the x-ray is negative.I have the image not the records(I suppose they insert it in the yellow envelope, becuase all they gave me after the k1- interview was the x-ray image)

You don't have to file for AOS before the I-94 expires. Some peeps have waited 2 years! Better to do so ASAP tho in case something should happen to the petitioner!

Haole is right - you don't need to file for AOS before the I-94 expires - you just need to have got married within those 90 days. While it is best to file before the I-94 expires it isn't necessary and many people have filed afterwards without a problem. Basically, you want to maintain a legal status in the US which you have as long as the I-94 is valid. When you file for AOS your status becomes AOS applicant - also a legal status. Anytime in between those two dates is out of status and shouldn't be of major concern as long as it isn't too long.

When did you have your medical done in your home country?

Depending on the date of the medical you might not need a skin test.

Because the requirements changed there is a lot of confusion.

My husband's and kid's medial was done in May 2008. No TB skin test, but x-rays.

He got a copy of the vaccination form (DS-3025) which stated vaccination completed (checkbox). I just sent a copy of this copy with the AOS forms and no RFE. Case transferred to CSC, EAD and AP approved.

Wishing you luck.
