Wanna take my maiden name as my middle name

Timeline

Hey i am till in the process of filling out all that paper work for AOS. I wanna keep my maiden name as my middle name. So far i have not been to any office to change my name. Can i just put my maiden name as my middle name on all the forms for AOS? Has anyone been through this before? I would appreciate your help. Couldnt find anything on here.

04/29/08 - Got engaged

05/02/08 - Send off I-129 package to VSC via USPS

05/05/08 - I-129 package delivered at VSC

05/15/08 - Check cashed

09/11/08 - NVC send file to Frankfurt

USCIS will allow if you can demonstrate that it has legally been changed

you should do whatever is required in your state of residence to complete a change of name

:innocent:Yeah you can do that. In the Philippines, when we get married our maiden name becomes our middle name... And I haven't had any problems with it here in the US especially with my AOS. :) They will respect that.

The rules vary by state, but it always says something about that on the marriage license application. What did you put on that? If you put something other than what you want now, you really should do a legal name change.
