It probably is...

We sent off our papers for K1 on the 29th of December .

Finally I should say.

Now I am trying to find out when we should expect to hear something.

Looking at the statistics with processing times I get a bit confused, they give two time lines, for SCC and for VSC

Which one am I supposed to look at?

We filed in Vermont.

Thanks for helping a beginner out :blush:

you are looking at 4-6 months, if you are really like maybe 3 months but these past few days Vermont has been pretty slow...

There is no such thing as a silly question, just silly people :whistle:

You should be getting the NOA-1 here pretty soon. (normally 6-10 working days from receipt)

Once you have that, you will get a better idea of your timeline.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

CSC = California Service Centre

VSC = Vermont Service Centre

Therefore check out the VSC related timelines.

Thanks, I thought it might mean Vermont and California, but it didn't say anywhere.

I'll keep my eye on VSC

(btw, the board didn't let me edit SCC into CSC :blink: )

Have they cashed your check yet?

If so that usually means they have accepted your app for review

like some others have said - expect to see a NOA1 in a week or so

We fled at VSC and it was about 2 weeks before we received our NOA1 and about 2 months or so until we received the NOA2. Everything will be slow until you get the NOA2. Once you get the 2 everything speeds up big time......

Good Luck on your journey
