a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport???

i know it says birth certificate or US passport copy to show US citizenship but must i submit a copy of ALL PAGES of the passport? the first page isn't good enough? the one with the picture and signature on it? i checked USCIS webiste and the Instructions for I-130, Petition for Alien Relative pdf website and it didnt say ALL pages...only visa journey said to include ALL pages of the passport...what did you fellow Vjers do?

There are (at least) two ways of doing things - the 'required' way and the 'best-practices' way.

On VJ you'll get both; what's required and what has proved to be successful for most VJers, most of the time.

You are of course free to choose your own path.

I sent a copy of all pages of my passport and a copy of my birth certificate. Personally I prefer knowing I did everything they wanted and a little extra. It gives me peace of mind so I don't stay up worrying about the minor details. Good luck though .

We sent ALL pages, including the front and back cover. Better to play it safe, but it's your case so only you can decide.

because i needed to show im a usa citizen i copied every page of the passport, i guess is up to u what u want to do but i would rather give it all to them so that if they have a question its already answered.........

We sent only the signature and photo page and didn't have any problems.

Just copy biographic page of your passport and you should be fine. or you can also send your us citizenship certificate.

And then there are the actual instructions which clearly say "all pages" of the passport if being used as proof of US Citizenship. For all passport related purposes, I suggest photocopying all pages. One of the reasons is to clarify any question that could come up about any international travel. I suggest people not get bogged down by asking why to every part of the process they don't understand. It's complicated enough just to understand the "what to do" without all the "why", though often a little thought will answer the why questions for us.

In your case, they may actually want to know how many times YOU have been in and out of Pakistan. Every page of your passport will answer that.

It seems alot of people posting want to do the "minimum" to get by. In this Visa application business, more info will only help your case, not hinder it.

Plus, it may prevent RFE's down the line, which as we know, slows down the process...

That could be true - but, USCIS doesn't know they are blank.

Since the use of the copy of the passport is to show US citizenship, I just don't see how blank pages OR copies of visas and entry stamps changes that. Fortunately I have NEVER heard of anyone getting an RFE for not copying those blank pages.
