If I am filing all these forms in one package, do I need multiple copies of the supporting documents or is one ok?

I would recommend you file the documents they ask for. If they want to have some documents more than once then send them multiple copies. If you "ask" them to run to the copier they can "ask" you for further evidence. And they play the game their way!

Oh, put the right documents behind the right form.

You may consider sending the documents out in several folders. One folder for each form. And put every document or copy of a document in each folder when required, so that each form has complete list of supporting documents.

Also, write a common "content" page.

Follow the individual instructions for each form and provide all the documents that are asked for, even if they were already asked for in a previous form's instructions. All the different forms do get separated during processing.

Good luck with the process.

thank you all very much. i've provided all the duplicate documents and filed them behind each form.

i only have one folder left of the kind recommended (with the folding metal clasps at the top). is it definetly advisable to have different folders?

David's and Chris' were each sent with one fastener and had no problems, so no you don't need different ones.

cool. thanks for the feedback. i don't know how we would have made it this far without this board.

one last question if i can. i believe the correct address to send the combined package to is:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

P.O. Box A3462

Chicago, IL 60690-3462

can someone verify that i read the legalise correctly?

i lied. i have one more request. if someone is knowledgeable about Advance Parole, could they possibly advise me as to the best option to pick on the form for the type of travel document being requested in my thread in the travel and work forum? it doesn't seem to be a very active forum and i am hoping to get this package out tomorrow morning.

thanks in advance.
