Hello everyone. I just wanted to say that I have been approved December 22nd, 2008 and I am very pleased and thankful to God for that. But I have a question, my wife who currently is in Kenya (I live in the States btw) just moved to another house and I emailed the NVC about the update and this is the email I received.

Dear Sir:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

All correspondence concerning your petition has been sent to you in care of your attorney of record. You should contact your attorney concerning the present status of your case. If you no longer wish to utilize this attorney as your representative, please contact the NVC in writing.

The NVC has updated the beneficiary's address. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing address, email address (if applicable), or change in personal situation, which may affect the beneficiary's entitlement to a visa.

A packet containing the Immigrant Visa Processing Fee Bill and the Affidavit of Support (I-864) Processing Fee Bill has been sent to the attorney of record. The fees, listed on the fee bill, must be paid according to the instructions.

The Department of State is now accepting payments for immigrant visa processing on-line. You may visit the Department of State's website: www.ImmigrantVisas.State.Gov, Fee Collection, if you wish to pay the required processing fees on-line. You will need your case number and invoice ID number to properly pay your fee. Complete instructions regarding on-line payments may be found on the fee bill you received. If you have not received a fee bill, please contact the NVC.

Once the payment is received and processed, you will be given instructions on how to download the instruction packets and the appropriate forms on-line. The instruction packets and forms will not be sent to you by the NVC if your payment is made on-line. You will need to mail the appropriate forms to the NVC in order to complete your immigrant visa processing. Please follow the instructions provided to you by the website.

The bolded part is what I am inquiring about. I have no idea who the attorney they are talking about is. Do I contact NVC and ask who it is? I did not fill out a DS-3032 form. Btw, is this form for the BENEFICIARY or the PETITIONER? Who suppose to fill form out? And since my wife is in Kenya at the moment, can she fill it out and make me, her husband, as her choice of agent so I receive all her papers or do I choose and agent or attorney? I can never get hold of them. As you can see, I am a rookie in this, so perhaps you can guide me to it. Thank you all and hope to hear from you soon.

It looks like per their record you do have an attorney. Anyways, as stated to their letter, call NVC and inform them that you do not have an attorney. You should ask your wife to fill up the DS3032 "Choice of agent" (signed by her - the beneficiary) and assign you as the agent so you can receive all correspondence.
