Ok, 1st post, I searched but didn't find what I'm looking for. My finace has an interview next week at the manila embassy. she did the medical/physical last week. When they took her papers for the medical at St lukes for turning over to the embassy, they took her passport too. They told her that they would forward it to the Embassy and she would get it when she arrived for her interview next week.

now my question.

What does she use to identify herself to get in the first door if they have the passport inside?

she has expired student IDs, she has work IDs, and other civilian IDs like that, but I doubt they will take these IDs.

she has all the Paper work she will need for the inteview, NBI clearance, police clearance, birth certificate etc Etc ETC....; I'm just worried she'll get there and the Guard won't let her in.

Thanks, i have no experience with this embassy so I don't knowwhat she will need

and some quick info would be very very much appreciated.

Thank you very much

She has the National ID, right? Also, the letter or notice of appointment. Both are needed. Applicants for K-1 visas never have their passports to show.

Nope she didn't have a national ID, she used her Company ID for everything, apparently everybody took it, but she had to give it up when she turned in her resignation.

when is her interview? Mine is jan. 13 at 7AM.. she can use postal ID.

Thank you, she will be getting a Postal ID tomorrow morning.
