AOS Interview

Hello.

I received an AOS interview letter yesterday and there is one thing which isn't clear to me....

On the letter received, it tells us to bring "Original and copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your application."

Are they telling us to bring copy of supporting docs which we submitted with our original AOS application?

or

Are they telling us to bring copy of supporting docs which we will bring to the AOS interview with us so that they can keep the copy?

I think they just want to verify that the copy you sent with your application is a true and correct copy, if needed. So they'll look at the copy of your Passport, and then verify it by looking at the real thing.

Bring original birth certificates, marriage certificate, other applicable certificates (divorce, death, etc.) and passport.

yes, originals of those (so they can verify they are official) and also photocopies they might want to keep.

Sometimes they want to keep copies of information you bring, and having those copies already done saves them time. You aren't going to be denied if you forget it though (like we did)

I would also suggest besides bringing the originals of your documents (IDs, passport, marriage certificate, bank statements....), also make copies of those documents, just in case they ask for it to keep. I also bring photos too~~ well, just think if you are well prepared, you have higher chance of getting approve right there! GOOD LUCK!!

WHAT KIND OF BIRTHCERTIFICATE?COZ I HAVE A BIRTH FROM NSO BUT IS ONLY A COPY COZ I ALREADY SEND TO MANILA EMBASSY THE ORIGINAL BUT I HAVE MY BIRTH ORIGINAL BUT NOT FROM NSO.
