File for Advance Parole

Hey everybody,

i came over here with a K1 Visa and we are now filing for AOS. Since i can file for AP and EAD at the same time as AOS and not pay for those two, can i go ahead and file for and Avance Parole even though i might not make use of it? I just want to avoid having to pay extra for it at later time in case i need it.

Has anybody done it this way?

05/02/08 - Send off I-129 package to VSC via USPS

05/05/08 - I-129 package delivered at VSC

05/15/08 - Check cashed

05/19/08 - Received NOA 1

09/04/08 - NOA2

09/11/08 - NVC send file to Frankfurt

09/16/08 - Frankfurt received my file

Yes, you can apply for the AP even though you currently don't have any plan to travel yet, but who knows, you might need/want to go travel before you receive your Green Card! I would say just apply both EAD and AP at the same time!

Yes you can, i did and got it with me now, so should there be an emergency, i wont be worried cos i dont have the green card yet, and whats more? Its valid for one year!
