does anyone know if we can call the us embassy to set the interview for cr1 or do we need to wait for NVC to set the date? tnx for any info...!

If your case is "complete" @ NVC, they should be scheduling your interview date within the next couple of months... you can keep calling them and reminding them nicely that you are there waiting, and I think it is 8 weeks after case complete date, you can call and discuss the delay in your interview... I have found the nicer I am to the operators on the other end, the more willing they are to give me info! Take care and Good Luck!

May 29,2008- flew to Jordan June 1, 2008-started the long CRAZY process of standing in line, waiting for stamps, and being sent from one office to another only to pay another fee and find another line! June 11, 2008- Returned home,started paperwork.June 30, 2008-Sent off I-130 pkt to Chicago.July 3, 2008-I-130 pkt received, fwd to CSC.August 4, 2008-NOA #1 August 11, 2008-Sent in I-129F pkt to CSC.August 18, 2008-NOA#2*APPROVED*September 4, 2008-NVC printed AOS instructions-(mailed Sept. 8) September 13, 2008-Rec'd AOS Bill in the mail.[/i] September 15, 2008-Used online payment option.-October 14, 2008-Sent off AOS packet with joint sponsor info.-rec'd@NVC Oct 15. October 30,2008-Got RFENovember 12, 2008-Priority to NVC,BIOGRAPH/Certs!Here we go![/b]November 19,2008RFE!#######!-overnite Nov 25-3 December, 2008-CASE COMPLETE NVC!INTERVIEW FEB 18TH-Approved!!!February 28,2009 HUBBY ARRIVED ON SATURDAY FEBRUARY 28TH, 2009---LIFE HAS JUST BEGUN!!!!ALHAMDULALLAH!

Only NVC can give schedule date for CR1. Except if you are K1 then you can call Embassy and set your interview date.

06-17-07 Got married

10-09-07 I-130 Sent

01-09-08 Got NOA1

09-17-08 I-130 Approved

12-01-08 Case completed at NVC

02-02/03-09 Medical exam (Passed)

02-13-09 Interview date @ 6:30(Approved)

02-23-09 VISA Recieved

04-17-09 Meet my hubby at NAIA

05-03-09 Flight to USA

05-10-09 Surprised welcome party at church

06-01-09 SSN# Recieved

06-23-09 GC on hand

06-27-09 Reception Party (USA)
