It's like guuuuuuuuuurl what the hell were you thinking? I was uber cautious traveling to Egypt when I was in my early 20s, and I was infinately more mature at that stage in life than I was at 16. :bonk:

Aww I guess I got this lecture from my parents as well. When I met my hubby for the first time (we met online and I was in highschool at the time) but I ended up taking a bus trip out to tennessee after graduation to meet him. Took me about 3 days on bus to get here. The whole time my parents thought I was headed off to B.C. to meet up with some girlfriends I had there. They had no clue, even when I got back. Till my mom said, somethings up. Your not telling me something. Whats wrong, why won't you talk to me. She started freaking out thinking I was pregnant or something like that. So I just told her. To my surprise she was shocked, disappointed but she never got into my face about it. I just turned 18 when i left. Like 3 days after my birthday.

Can an underage girl buy a ticket to another country and fly without adult supervision?

Well i can say at 16 i was very independent already. At 10 i would go to school walking with friends that lived in the same building, at 12 i would go to english classes by bus or bike or sometimes walking (and it wasn't close to where i lived), but i don't know, i guess i was raised differently, i knew not to talk to strangers, never get in anyone's car, and back when i was 16 there was not internet, or if there was, was not available to everybody like it is now, only to very wealthy people, and i can't believe we're in 2006 and still there're 16 year old girls so naive to the point of even consider going alone to another country meet an adult they met on the internet. Where are the people who should be educating her? Oh please, they should arrest her parents!

there was a time when I had this shaver on my dresser. it looked some what like a birth control pill box.

mom without really paying close attention. picked it up. came to me and said.

" oh my god you finally did it- its about time you take responsiblity. I am proud of you for doing the right thing"

come find out. i said mom- what are you talking about? she showed me the shaver. I said oh

what you doing with my shaver? the look on her face - PRICELESS... :D \

btw, I remained in tact. I was not having sex.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Ya, well I have to say I was probably niave at the time as well. But for some reason I had no fear, I don't know why. It finally all came out I went and stuff and yes I got the that was the dumbest thing you have ever done, what if he was this or that... I guess I just got lucky that he wasn't and was everything he claimed to be. I was underage when I bought the bus ticket and no questions were asked of me. My best friend and a few other friends helped me pull the whole story off and such and took me to the bus depot. Thing is on the way back they lost my luggage and to this day I still haven't had it returned to me :-p I guess that was my punishment from God or something lol
