According to USCIS about RFE,

NOTE: IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT THE LETTER REQUESTING EVIDENCE BE RETURNED WITH THE EVIDENCE AND THAT THE SPECIAL MAILING ENVELOPE PROVIDED BE USED. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF THE CASE AND MAY RESULT IN A DENIAL DUE TO ABANDONMENT.

I recieved the RFE letter and it did not encluded the envelope...

Has anyone recieved the RFE letter with the envelope and what does look like if you did?

Weird, I received my RFE letter today like I posted on another topic but I didn't receive any special envelope nor this note about it. I just attached the yellow paper letter with the other documents they asked me about.

I'm worried now.

I don't know if this helps... (we're going through CR-1 and K-3 so it might be a different experience).

When I got an RFE, I got an envelope with it. I think the only thing I noticed was the ATTN: part. In a previous envelope, it says" Attn: CMR". For the RFE, it says Attn: DR.

Whatever it is, you should use the address on the barcode sheet that came with the letter.

I couldn't send mine back in the envelope provided because what they were asking for me to provide was too big.

I simply marked a suitable blank envelope with all the exact details from the envelope they sent me with the RFE notice to ensure it got directed to the appropriate place and it didn't hold anything up. I think we were then approved within about a month.

I had no envelope with mine and it was a yellow piece of paper.

Don't forget to photocopy the entire package-including the RFE letter before you send it back.

They probably screwed up. If you are worried just write a little note on your cover page that you were not provided with said return envelope and have used your own accordingly.

You'll be ok :)

I got an RFE and it is blue. No envelope included. So I will send my papers along with the original blue RFE notice and state in a letter that no envelope was included.

Hope this works. It should if they didn't provide and envelope.
