Can I divorce my wife for cooking fish?

Help! I have a shirt wrapped around my face as I write this post. Some sort of small fish she cooks in oil, produces lots of smoke. It smells like the warmest day in gym class, only 100 times worse. It has been two days now, and I can't even go in the house without covering my face. :(

:help: -Bullwinkle

just cooking dried fish, means devorcing your wife???? nonsense at all,

open the window, spray air freshener, do some cleaning, and ask your wife to cook dried fish outside next time.

what a joke!!!

I agree w/ kawawa, tell your wife to cook it outside but beware there might be neighbours will complain.

The guy at the local filipino store warned me about it when my wife was buying it. I didn't believe him...until she started cooking it. Wow! Next time she agreed to cook it outside. Thankfully she rarely cooks it.

I had just finished smoking a beef brisket the other day and the apartment smelled wonderfull. I went outside for a few minutes and when I came back she was frying up her Tuyo, so much for the wonderful smell. I can handle all of the other things she makes and enjoy eating them I just can not get over that particular smell. After I got her to try the brisket she loved it. I do use the smoker to make her tinapa.

I did find something that she can not stand the smell of...... brick cheese, she does not even eat it just the smell of it out of the wrapper makes her crazy.

Did she ever mention buying dried pusit?

Add bagoong (shrimp paste) to that! I'm craving for Philippine green mango, though! :(

Jo

She loves the green mango! We found an Asian store close by that has those, and Safeway sells Patis. We can't get the local fruit stand to understand the Asian preference for sour fruit though. They just don't taste the same, she says. Give her a grapefruit and some vinegar, and she is in bliss.

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

To add, my wife eats it with rice and with her hand. She said , dried fish ( I call it bait fish ) wont taste the same if not eaten using the hand. Is this true?? :)

Shhhhhh. . . I enjoy watching her eat with her hands, lol. Its kinda sexy.
