Help! I have a shirt wrapped around my face as I write this post. Some sort of small fish she cooks in oil, produces lots of smoke. It smells like the warmest day in gym class, only 100 times worse. It has been two days now, and I can't even go in the house without covering my face. :(

:help: -Bullwinkle

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

just cooking dried fish, means devorcing your wife???? nonsense at all,

open the window, spray air freshener, do some cleaning, and ask your wife to cook dried fish outside next time.

I got home at she was coming out the front door with the smoking pan. She tried, but the "aroma" escaped before she could get outside. All the windows are open, and the smell is dissipating. Maybe I will still keep her.

I advice you to get a stove with a vent that will suck the air outside while cooking so that the bad smell will not spread inside the house...Light some scented candles...and spray air freshener...

Next time tell her to try boiling in a pan on the next burner some vinegar and cinnamon and lemon juice, if you can't get that have her boil some peppermint while she's cooking the fish...I've done that for years and never had any problems.

 Stay away from the duck eggs

i love it!!!

I love the duck eggs too (balut?). But my husband is too much of a wussy to try those. He is such a big baby crying about all that smoke. But I felt bad looking at him like that. He is not really used to the smell of dried fish. I don't know when will be the next time for me to eat dried fish again! --Thanks for the reply guys. I love tuyo, but I have second thoughts of frying them again. -- Rocky
