What is Democracy?

Hamas is label by foreigner as a Terrorist Group. The question people don't ask themselves, How did Hamas got into power?

What is Democracy?

The Palestinian people have voted Hamas leadership into power.

What is Democracy?

Is it the will of the people or what you want to shove on their Throat.

What is Democracy

There's an obvious Void, Despair among the palestinian population that push them to select Hamas as their leaders, Wasn't it a fair and FREE election, Wasn't it Democracy?

You may not agree with the people choice, but with Democracy the people have spoken as such, everybody should respect their Choice, Knowing their vote counted. If a different palestitian leader has something better to offer, Let him bring the message to the people, and LET THE PEOPLE MAKE THEIR CHOICE.

People should address the real atrocities, the APARTHEID system that's happening in Palestine, Just like those folks in South Africa, They were fighting for Freedom but to the goverment they were trouble makers.

DO YOU THINK THE WORLD would stay quiet to what's happening if the people of Palestine were WHITES?

If it was in this day and age, I bet you there are a lot of people who would label Nelson Mandela a Terrorist, All those freedom fighters would now be listed on the terrorist list.

This was proven more true with the test rockets from Lebanon. I call them test rockets right now because nobody is claiming them. Israel fired back but did not escalate as it has with Gaza. It doesn't look like Israel wants another war with Lebanon. Israels true focus is Gaza within it's own territory that is until a true Palestinian state can be established. Those talks are going on currently. Egypt keeps the boarder sealed with Israel so this doesn't turn into a repeat boarder war where the war spills over it's boarders. Just like with what is happening with the Chad and Sudan war. The same thing is happening in Darfur right now for the past ten years but nobody cares.

Is that any surprise at all? Like I said... God forbid anyone here go through the loss of [an innocent] civilian due to any kind of senseless act of violence. Its pretty disturbing that there are people crazy enough to forgo their humanity in a weird crusade that goes nowhere really, really fast.

And yes... quite a few of us have gotten to lose loved ones due to senseless acts of violence.

Hamas is simply learning the lesson that being an A$$h*le is its own reward.

Civilian casualties are definitely unfortunate but when you fire rockets from civilian areas, and have no plan beyond using the same civilians as shields and propaganda stats when the response gets them killed, too bad.

Israel's strategy is to cripple hamas militarily or otherwise ensure that they are too frightened to attack in the future. The obvious side effect of this is that their response kills and terrorises the civilian population. By that rationale it is terrorism.

It also doesn't work, it stengthens extremism and unless Israel is prepared for a much more drastic campaign, and risk alienating its allies in the process, they won't achieve a whole lot except a short term reprieve.
