We used the guides the last time we sent it, and we will do that again if we have to send it for a 3rd time.

Thank you for all the help, hopefully we will be able to sort this all out.

Please don't get upset by this, because I'm not judging anyone. But are you sure your husband actually filed the papers? Are you sure he didn't get the NOA1 and maybe he doesn't know what that is? It's a green paper that they send like a reciept that says they got your application (it has a reciept number and dates). It just seems strange. I wonder if he did get the NOA1 but maybe he thinks it's something else???

Yes he filed the papers. I know he didnt get the NOA1 because when we called them they said that there was no record of us in the system.

Will be calling again today tho to try and find out whats going on.

JolieJodi, #######??? Did you ask them why you're not approved? You're out of the processing times! By a VERY long time! What do they tell you???

I wish I KNEW what is going on!!! Every time I call they tell me it is still "pending" and that we are not THAT far outside of processing dates...!!! Have filed 3 service request and get the response that it is "under review"...hardly a response at all. They sent our case to the WRONG office "by mistake" back in October, so then had to transfer it back to VSC which took almost 2 months of me calling them, having my congressman call them, my attorney call. Finally it is back at VSC. I call nearly every day and as of Friday I was told it was with an officer...let's hope that is the truth and that we get our approval this week! My husband has already missed the birth of our first baby and we MISS him so we just keep praying...that's about all I can think of to do!

Hey Narina! Hey guys!

I´m still crying for an approval.

I´ve been away from VJ because I´m out of town, but sometimes I check to see how things are going. I just spoke to my husband and he told me he called USCIS and the senator who helped us a few time ago... Nobody could help us, as usual. They said they are still in February bla bla bla...

We don´t know what to do anymore. We talk online and we cry cry cry... This nightmare never ends. I don´t understand why it has to be like this. I hate VSC! (i know I´m speaking like a little girl, but who cares at this point?)

Well, one day we´ve got to be approved. It´s like the lottery, someone has to win.

Everytime I don't see you post for a few days I'm hoping it's because you got your approval and are too busy!

Well honey, what can I say? VSC loves us so much that they don't want to let go of our applications, I guess!

Today I had my temper tantrum. I cried all day. I b1tched to my friends, my co-workers, my family, and in my posts. I've had a really weird day. It's just been crazy from beginning to end. I'm exhausted by it all.

I guess we will just go to sleep tonight and let another day pass and see what tomorrow brings. Nothing else we can do!

Nope no answer at all. We called on Friday and they said that they have not received anything from us as of yet.

I know there was a huge influx of petitions and applications filed at the same time ours was but 15 months is a little bit ridiculous isnt it?

With us we had a same issue

we got no Noa1

we kept calling and calling till we finally got someone months later to tell us we got a noa1, but we never received it it got lost in the mail

Has he mailed it with return receipt

or even sign when it gets there, then you have proof they received it

and even check with the bank if they cashed the check

these are ways to verify that they did get it

and then try hitting i guess operator till u get someone on the phone that is helpful, if not hang up try again

Well since we have seen many filers as late as August get their approval, I guess that puts many more people in the leftover category.

We can't do anything other than support each other while waiting. So we may as well stick together through this!

We really are leftovers because all non-K-3's get transferred and are taken out of VSC prison

I don't know what to think anymore!!! It seems except a handful of us everyone else seems to be getting approved around us??

I want to be positive and hopefully but at times like this it is hard.....We need to see April / May / June filers getting approved...

Well, I knew it would never be easy... Sure didn't know it would be this hard though! Honestly, I really have been trying to stay busy with some other things so that I don't keep thinking about it. The more I think about it, the worse I feel. Plus, it's out of my hands completely. So all my worries and anxiety are not going to help.

I don't know, but it seems like everyone is a lot more depressed, angry, anxious, etc...this week more than in the past.

Do you think we're feeling sadder than usual because of the winter weather? Like winter blues x 100???

but the fact that august filers and october filers get approved and we are still no going anywhere, the april may and june was is getting old!

Well, we can look at it from the positive side... at least you're not the only one, I'm not the only one. There are still a few of us here in VJ, which means many more people in reality, who have not gotten their approvals (even though some from a later date did).
