Boy, do I wish I'd heard about the WalMart money card a long time ago!! My bank wanted to hold my fiances cheque for fifteen days, and Money Mart wanted a fortune!!

They'll tell you 15 days (or 10 days, or whatever) but that's to cover their butts. If you check back with them in 3-5 days you'll usually find that it's cleared.

We need this posted somewhere very very obvious on the Canada forum..
