Hi everyone,

I was approved 30 days ago, package 3 was mailed out to me 17 days ago and I was told by the US Embassy to wait on it. If anyone can give the info that I need to return to the Embassy from the package 3, I will send the info to them so that I could get my interview date. Please I would be so thankful.

This varies a little bit depending on which embassy you are dealing with. The guides/FAQ's here will give you a pretty good idea what to expect. I will ask my wife what she needed for the Trinidad embassy. I think it was just a simple form to send back, and she brought everything else to the interview.

Also, for what it's worth, it took my wife a long time to get her Packet 3 also. The original one was sent to the wrong address, so I requested that another one be sent. You might want to check status with the Department of State if you haven't done so already.

Good luck!

Thank you, I did check my status with Department of states, and they said the package 3 was mailed out before christmas and that it may take 3 weeks before i could get it. If it is only the DS-0230 I need to send to them I would send it could you kindly ask your wife. Also on the top left hand of the DS-0230 do I need to attach a photo. Thanks a million.

Neither my wife nor myself remember anything more than signing a form and mailing it back. It will have instructions and a checklist of what to bring to the interview (police certificate, passport photos, evidence of relationship, I-134, etc)

Good luck!
