Hi all,

rightnow im preparing paper works for our application for k1 visa. its our 2nd time and im thinking when i ws in US i got a Social security #

- should i put it in the G325a form? and in some advance thoughts... if ever ill be making it again for the interview to the embassy which is of course after 9 months or less i hope..

- should i also include some previous papers from our 1st application? ie. pictures i used before, money transfer receipts etc. of course i will include more updated ones.

- Lastly, the first time we went through this my fiancee went to a lawyer and paid a lot it cost him so much, is it better if we will just do it by ourselves this time?

Thank u so much,

sad emily.. :(

1 - as payxibka says - you have one - put it on.

2 - For sure - as long as it it's in the 2 year window of meeting prior to this new petition.

3 - Up to you two if you want to do the lawyer route.

___

Now - if I may ask, what happened to your first petition? Was it denied? That would have some bearing on some answers.

Because your signature said the visa was approved???

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

No I am even more confused?

Your visa is valid now? You have 90 days to get married on it once you arrive in the US.

Hmm - do you mean you came to the US then went back home before getting married on the K-1?

You can take up to 6 months to come here on the K-1 visa.

Yes u are right.. we went back here even before my visa as k1 gets expired. we planned to just marry back here in philippines but we were not able to. we've been living together for 6 months in here it was the make or break of his projects. he gave himself until the end of the year. but then came the said date and hes project is still moving slow..its a big project thats y we agreed to sacrifice and wait some time for us.
