Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Long live the King!!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

The King of Thailand and Elvis the King

http://www.bangkokpost.net/60yrsthrone/jazzy/

CLOCKWISE, FROM LEFT: For over a decade, His Majesty has inspired the public as well as university students with his cool jazz in live performances with Au Sau Wan Suk Band.

His Majesty the King performs outdoors in rural Thailand in the late 1950s. Among those enjoying the music is Her Majesty the Queen, far left.

His Majesty took the clarinet and jammed with the Dixieland Jazz Band during a reception hosted for him in Hawaii in 1960.

His Majesty the King and the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” Elvis Presley, during His Majesty's visit to the US in 1960.

Echo is among the few songs written by HM the King with English lyrics

You guys are funny! :)

Anya, I'm sorry I missed this the other day! :o It was a very nice celebration indeed. Chutima downloaded a lot of pictures, and was watching video clips. We both wished we could have been there. The King of Thailand is a wonderful man and has done so much for the people of Thailand. Thailand needs him more than ever right now, considering the problems with the current government and the Tha Rak Thai party.

Long Live The King!

cool!

just curious - which king currently on the throne has the most time?

that would be ours...

it's his 60 years anniverasy as a "King" this year...

http://www.nationmultimedia.com/specials/60thking/index.php - got all the story and pictures...

"Donning yellow shirts that symbolize the monarchy, the masses formed a sea of yellow as they waited for the world's longest-serving monarch to appear on the throne hall balcony for his address -- only the third such balcony speech of his royal career."
