WE have never seen any here in southern Calif. We are going to the Filipino grocery store in Cerritos this Saturday so will have to look around to see if there are any there.

I bought a box of them today in Seafood City, its a filipino store. It cost $9 for a dozen. They are not the green mangoes that we have in the Philippines. They look like apple mangoes but taste like indian mangoes. Go to their website and find out if you are near in one of their stores. That's where I buy may bagoog isda as well that I use in my gulay and I also buy my junk foods there like Chippy, V-Cut, Lucky Me Pancit Canton and other filipino goodies.

Wow!! Congatulations!!

Me and my husband always go to the Lion's Asian Market near Stevens Creek but there are no green mangoes the same as what we have back home. He said the mangoes they have are Mexican mangoes. I haven't tried it yet since its too big and I'm the only one who can eat it..

Maybe well check again in Sea Food City.

For Mangos Mexican and Ecuador or any South or Central American country is about the same in taste

Philippine Mango has a much better taste.

I disagree. Mexican mangoes are a lot more delicious than those from the PI. They got more fiber too and everyone needs fiber. The ones from Ecuador ain't no good. By the way, do you know that the mangoes in the Philiipines originally came from Mexico via the Acapulco galleon trade?
