Hi guys,

I'm just about to start working on my removing conditions and I need the complete general list of requirements.

I've been reading some topics related to required documents and it seems to me the more evidence you have the better for you.

Like, would it be enoguh at least some joint statement/account or you have to have a bunch of everything?

Didn't miss that anxiety at all...

Thanks everybody

Hi Alex&Ana,

In answer to your post, and to give you more ideas, this is a list what I submitted as additional "joint evidence" for my I-751 application (Removal of Conditions) that I filed for last year in August:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=118868&hl=

What's important here, is to show the joint names and joint addresses, with "joint evidence" spanning the entire timeline of the 2 years since you got your conditional green card and of that time in your marriage. For bills, statements, and other legal documents, try to include as many as you can that are in both joint names and joint adresses, and highlight this joint fact accordingly. If there are some documents in separate names, send them both in as well, and highlight the address and names, and if need be, explain why these documents are not in both joint names and/or both joint addresses. For original documents (such as affidavits), these will have to be original copies and not photocopies. Do not alter and/or highlight original and/or notarized documents, as that can be seen unfavourably as tampering with evidence.

And yes, the more "joint evidence" that you have, the better for your I-751 case!!!

Hope this helps. Good luck with the rest of your immigration journey too.

Hi Alex&Ana,

You're welcome. Lol...with immigration, the collecting of paperwork never ends for several years...And "we have to do what we have to do", in terms of immigration, I suppose. Just gather the evidence "a little bit at a time, and you should be fine there. And besides, most of the stuff you'll probably have already beforehand, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem there either.

As for when you can apply for the I-751 Removal of Conditions, you have to do it within the 90 day window before your 2yr green card expires. You cannot do it before or after this 90 day timeframe, as your application will be rejected if such is done. So according to that, you would have to apply for your Removal of Conditions sometime between March 2009 to June 2009....(just minus 90 days from when your 2yr green card expires to figure out your exact I-751 application submission timeframe).

Hope this helps too. Good luck on your immigration journey too.
