True that. I have the proof.

Ugh, just found out my soon-to-be-ex is reading all my posts...LOL. Sorry babe, but I had to ask for opinions.

I don't see what is so "LOL" about this.... maybe you shouldn't be posting here if he is reading this? I wouldn't want anything you say here to be used against you somehow. I'd just be very careful.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

All is fine. He IS and HAS been reading all my posts. Well everyone, thanks for all your feedback. We have talked and cleared our miscommunication up and we are back together. I went to immigration today and they said that they see this all the time (where the American gets so pissed off at the foreigner and tries so hard to send them back) She said in some instances, the foreigner will be deported IF the spouse does NOT support him/her if their are charges that show up during the time of interivew.

I was informed that I need to be at his upcoming interview to clear up any mishaps that will show up and she told me not to worry if I truly want to remain married to him.

So if you are reading this husand..........thanks for being patient w/ me. I love you!! (L)

Huh??? You were all ready to divorce him (next month), have assault charges on him, you remove him from all "joint things", and all is forgiven?

I hope you two go into counseling - because the way you made it out, one simple talk would not clear that up.

Sometimes, this is called "battered wife syndrome", so be sure this is what you want, because it's not just you, it's your kid's future too.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I understand your point of view however, I am also looking at the overall committment my husband and I have had for 4 years. Things became bad within the past two months but adjusting to cultural change takes "patience". I know you are saying, "abuse is abuse and it doesn't matter what culture they come from". I'll make it clear, we BOTH were fighting each other but I initiated the charges. No he did not leave bruises on me, it was a "physical power struggle".

It's just as hard for him to adjust as it is for me to adjust to his culture; some men are taught things that women just can't seem to understand yet, they "learn" to accept their ways. I am talking cultural ways.

We had split for about 2 weeks and during that time I analyzed alot about him. He is a very hard working man, doesn't smoke, doesn't drinks, doesn't hang out, strives for the best, is enrolled in Management Classes, pays the bills, etc. I have to take all that into accountability.

With the stresses of life, things came to a head and ####### exploded. Again, I am NOT the only one out there who has been in this situation. Immigration stated they see this quite often.

You are right, instead of venting to Visa Journey, I will be venting to a counselor. Thanks for your input though. :D
